"Respect For All Life"

One day the Earthspirits came to us and said, "We wish to co-create a Festival upon the land where humans and devas not only walk side-by-side, but celebrate each other so completely that a new consciousness and way of life lands upon the Earth in love."

Of course we said, "Yes." (This seems to be our one job.)

This does not mean that we had any idea about how to produce this Festival, and that may have been our best qualification! It meant that every moment we had to open to the Spirits of the land, "Show us what you want. Show us how to do this." Piece by piece the vision unfolded before our eyes. Moment to moment, we did whatever was asked of us to make it so.

We had no idea what the people we first told about this fledgling Festival would say.... "Sure, sure" "Good luck, Good-bye"? We told our friend, Michele and she just nodded. When we were done, she launched in, "Okay, we can have the organizational meetings here and you can use my place as the mailing address for the Festival. I'll have a second phone line put in for it, too. I'll call people, and we can have our first meeting this weekend...." All we could do was grin. Virtually everybody we talked to about Festival felt the heart of the Earthspirits in it. Even though they couldn't explain it, they jumped in offering incredible amounts of time, energy and love.

All this love (human and deva alike) led us right to forming, Elementals of Life, a living, breathing 501 c 3 non-profit corporation. It thrilled us all. Now we had an organization that directly represented our working hand-in-hand with Spirit, and a structure that efficiently and immediately allowed people to join us in whatever capacity gave them great joy. Best of all it was honoring the lifeforce of every being on this planet, including the planet, herself. What could be more exciting than that?

EOL continues to grow. It co-created four wonderful Festivals of the Little People™. And yes, human and deva somehow held each others' hearts and danced in the woods together. Each year, the Earthspirits generously left us signs of their presence, quite often through the weather. At the end of year number three as just a few of the vendors were still breaking down their tents, a very worried neighbor came over telling us that a tornado was on the ground and traveling right for us. We told everyone on site (which was an open field) so that they could take cover. Shortly after that we saw this incredible gray/yellow storm coming right at us, fast! Just before it hit us, it split into two and encircled our field, without touching us. At the back half of our site, the storm came back together again and traveled on quietly, leaving us unharmed!

Through Festival's live music, group ritual and meditation, homemade organic vegan food and FUN, lots of good folks (and devas) became family. One year in an opening circle ritual one woman said that her favorite part of Festival was that she was so incredibly inspired there that that inspiration carried her year-round. Those two days of completely focused energy and joy uplifted all of us so much that the Spirits of the land told us, "You have fulfilled your obligation. Celebrate! The hearts of many have opened and all the Earth knows it. Now it is the season to expand your efforts beyond Festival. We will co-create many wonders, beginning with a new paradigm of work, play and life, based on complete respect for all beings."

Yes, we are celebrating! EOL has established a strong network of resources and truly dedicated people (and devas). Now we can move forward on the original vision to form a completely respectful world-wide community. It's time to model our experiences so that everyone can know that not only is it possible to work with Spirit in the most practical arenas, but that it is the most efficient and compassionate way we know to co-create the peaceful, prosperous Earth that we all envision. We're ready; we are practicing the new paradigm right now. Join us, please. All beings of respect are invited. It's time for all of us to combine our hopes and dreams and fulfill them, ourselves. If we wait for someone to do it for us, it may never get done.

An EOL Update as of December 14, 2006

Since we fulfilled our commitment to the Festival of the Little People ™, we have been expanding and strengthening the foundation of EOL. We expanded our Board of Co-Creators to: us-Twintreess, Rob Gran, Sue Bigelow, Ursela Gurau, and Lynn Asch. Together, we focus our energies and resources on Listening ever more deeply. This allows our resonant fields to grow and to attract the resources and practical support we need to manifest the new Earth paradigm, now, with as many beings as possible.

In this season of war/peace and evolution/stillness, we stand clearly in our truth - “We are aligned with the Elementals.” We respect all life every moment. Our Spirits have guided us to hosting a peace concert in Tucson to express this and show this way of life. We will hold Ritual and invite our friends, Gaye and Elivia, to play the crystal bowls. Those tones speak to every level of our bodies and beings and connect us to all life. Yes. Again, we say yes, and we listen more as the logistics of this land. We invite you to join us and we will grow together.

"One Voice, Many Bodies"— We co-created this with Riki Newell, a FLP 97 performer. We recorded a Spiritmeditation that gently unfolds the herstory of the Earth and we recorded it at a level that allows you to listen to it directly or it can be background to whatever else you are doing. Either way, its loving vibrations fill you with such honoring that afterwards you breathe more easily. You remember your wonder again. The world touches you regardless of all your busy-ness.

After the meditation magic, the music sets itself free to wander through gorgeous keyboards, violin and Native American flute, right into inspiration. We listen to this CD over and over again and each time, we meet ourselves anew. We go out on other adventures. We smile and remember the inexplicable.

The New Age Retailer "One Voice Many Bodies" Review

The outstanding feature on this CD is the 22-minute spoken poem titled "One Feather Meditation." Described as a "Spirit story to breathe," the words to this prayerful presentation are included in the liner and reflect the American Indian perspective that all are connected. The female artist performing the work has a distinctive voice-soft, yet with deep resonance. The remaining tracks are instrumental and range from melodic to meditative. All are designed to harmonize and heal listeners' energies. Sounds from nature, such as running water or bird song, back up the instrumentation. In addition to violin and flute, the mysterious and powerful sound of the didjeridoo is a constant presence, and keyboards are supplied by composer Riki Newell.

This is not a new production-it was originally released in 1997-but it merits coverage for its quality as well as its conscience: 100% of proceeds goes to the nonprofit organization Elementals of Life, which is dedicated to "supporting a new way of life on this Earth." One Voice Many Bodies is an unusual release that would fit well in your relaxation or meditation section.

The Language of Love

"The Language of Love"— Welcome to our first in-house production from our hearts! Last year, we were told by the Spirits of the land that it was time to share the original starseed story that only a few of us FLP co-creators knew about. When we originally traveled to the first FLP site, we absolutely shook with the feelings held in the land there. Those vibrations empowered us to hear the story of another time when starseed beings of incredible gifts and love lived there, quietly biding their time until they could join with and serve the children of the Earth. They knew that one day their particular gifts would fit our particular needs. That time is now.

So we were asked to release that story so that those starseed gifts could be freely given. We felt awe and almost trepidation. The story had jolted us with such force and a full spectrum of emotions: exhilaration, recognition, understanding, grief, pain and hope. The circumstances in it were both glorious and shocking. Would people understand it when they heard it? Would they focus on the pain or the possibilities? Ultimately, we knew that we had to offer it truthfully and freely, just as the Earth had done with us. It is the path of unconditional love for each other and ourselves.

"The Language of Love" tells the story of starseeds who walked and blessed the land that later became the first Festival site. The Earth had been holding their vibration there, for us (those who would need to know it) until we were ready for it with open hearts. If you have been to any of the Festivals, this is dedicated specifically to you. This is the story that sparked the vision that manifested that loving gathering. Beneath our celebrating, we also were releasing energy from the Earth that needed to come out freely. This story is the underlying respect that was offered to all of us. It shows us clearly how the Earth holds our pain and our growth and nurtures it until we can accept it as our ultimate healing and integration.

For those of you who have not come to Festival, this CD is offered to you with great sacredness. Its archetypal story can be yours. It can stir up your cellular memories.
